Weekly Photo Challenge: From Lines to Patterns

25 Sep

This week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge is about lines, so I decided to take the camera to the park today to get some pics of the kids on the monkey bars, which is full of great lines!

Here’s what I came up with:

These monkey bars at the park have always been a bit daunting to me.  Aren’t they every mother’s worst nightmare?  I mean, why do they put them in parks?  And paint them RED to attract the children?  It is a broken arm waiting to happen.

But over time I have softened towards the monkey bars, and the kids love them now.  I do try to stand under Maddie so at least she would have a semi-soft landing, but I think next summer I can let her climb freely.

Watch me be the one to fall off and break my arm.

What a great idea! These pictures are fantastic! Monkey bars can even look friendly in this nice collection of them…. 😉

Thank you! I wish I was a better photographer. We have an excellent camera, but I just can’t take the time to learn to use it properly.
